This Week
The Bluejays play at Drake on Thursday at 7 p.m. and then play their final non-conference match of the season when hosting Southern Utah on Sunday at noon at Morrison Stadium.
Last Week
Creighton played just one contest last week, after an eight-day break. The Jays went on the road and fell at Illinois State, 2-1. After falling behind 2-0, Brittney Neumann scored her team-leading sixth goal of the season and all six of her shots were on goal in the loss, but it was not enough in the road defeat.
Creighton-Drake Series
Creighton is 6-4-0 all-time against Drake. The Jays have won the last two meetings with the Bulldogs, including a 2-1 win in their last trip to Des Moines in 2007. Last Year the Jays topped the Bulldogs 2-0 in Omaha. The Jays are 2-3-0 all-time in Des Moines against DU and 3-0-0 all-time against the Bulldogs in the MVC Tournament.

League-Leaders
Creighton begins the week ranked first in shots (265), goals (30), assists (18), points (78), corner kicks (73), goals against average (0.52) and shutouts (9) in the Missouri Valley Conference.
• Freshman Brittney Neumann is chasing good company this year. The rookie has six goals and 15 points to lead the team. The last Bluejay to lead the team in goals and points as a freshman was Marcy Gans - who went on to end her career as CU's career leader with 91 points and 38 goals.
• The Jays take on Southern Utah for the first time in program history this Sunday, marking the fifth first-time opponent for CU this fall. The Jays are a 4-0-0 this year against teams they had not played before this season, out-scoring those foes 11-1.
• Creighton remains just one shutout shy of the school record, entering the week with nine clean sheets. The 1990 team established the school mark with 10 shutouts.
• The Jays are also on pace to establish a school record for goals against average this fall, beginning the week with a league-leading 0.56 GAA. The CU record is 0.81, set by the 2003 team.
• Alicia Montgomery's career and season goals against average stands at 0.52. Her career GAA is 0.44 better than the school record of 0.96 held by Valerie Zimmerer (2004-06).
