
Men's Tennis Falls UMKC 7-0

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The men's tennis team lost its match to UMKC, 7-0, Friday at th Woodside Racquet and Health Club in Kansas City, Mo. With the loss the team is now 0-2 on the season.
Creighton's lone victory came from the doubles team of Mike Elson and Jose Guerra. The tandem defeated the UMKC duo of Bret Berryman and Patrick Smith, 8-5.
In singles play, Guerra pushed Berryman to the limit, falling in three sets, 5-7, 6-4, 7-6.
The team returns to action Saturday afternoon on the road against Wichita State. Match time is set for 12:00 p.m.
