Creighton improved to 17-2-0 on the season and moved to a perfect 10-0-0 at home with the clean sheet, dropping Bradley to 14-5-2 on the year. The win was Brian Holt's 40th career shutout and his 53rd career victory, tying the school record for wins.

Creighton finally converted one of its14 second-half shots at with exactly 31 minutes left on the game clock in the second half. Bradley goalkeeper Brian Billings appeared to get a piece of Ethan Finlay's crossing pass into the middle of the box, but it was not enough to slow it down and Gomez was able to settle the ball and score in an open net. The goal was the junior midfielder's third of the season and his second game-winner.
Bradley never displayed much of a scoring chance with the only shot on goal recorded was a 40 yard free kick off the foot of Bobby Smith which bounced before Holt had to grab it to keep it from going in.
Creighton outshot the Braves 21-7 in the match, including a 7-1 advantage on goal. Gomez, Finlay and Dion Acoff each ripped four shots in the match.
The victory moves the Bluejays to an impressive 18-2-1 record at Morrison Stadium all-time against teams ranked in the NSCAA top 25.
Creighton will now seek to avenge one of its only two losses on the season and top Missouri State, which handed the Bluejays their only Valley loss. MSU was the only MVC team to score on the Jays this year, as the Bears scored an early goal and held off the Bluejays for a 1-0 win on Oct. 12 in CU's Valley opener.
The Bluejays are also in search of their first MVC tournament title in Omaha since 1994 when they take on the Bears (9-7-2) Sunday at 1:06 pm on Fox Sports Midwest.
