Men's Tennis Sweeps Chicago State 7-0

The Bluejays won the doubles point, thanks to solid play in the No. 1 and No. 2 positions. J.T. Christian and Billy Paluch defeated Mario Naboa and Rashley Yeremia in the top doubles spot, 8-1. Elliott Baker and Kyle Obermeier then turned around and defeated Sergiu Muresan and Julian Chavez by the same 8-1 score at No. 2 doubles. Sean Mathison and Ryan Norman won by default at the No. 3 spot.
In singles, the Jays continued on the same pattern, as Creighton dropped Chicago State in straight sets in every matchup. Paluch defeated Mario Naboa at the No. 1 singles 6-3, 6-1 followed by Christian downing Sergiu Muresan 6-3, 6-4 at the No. 2 singles.
In the No. 3 singles, Obermeier defeated Julian Chavez 6-2, 6-0, followed by Norman downing Rashley Yeremia in straight sets 6-2, 6-2 at the No. 4 singles. Gabe Nagy finished out the real play, defeating Luis Ulloa 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 5 singles. Baker won the No. 6 singles by default.
