
Men?s Tennis Falls to No. 61 Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. – The Creighton men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 contest to No. 61 Nebraska at the Lincoln Racquet Club late Saturday night.
Creighton (6-2) fell behind early against Nebraska (5-4) and could not recover.
The Cornhuskers swept the doubles matches to gain an early 1-0 lead and carried that momentum into singles play to give NU its third straight victory and keep the No. 61 Huskers undefeated at home.
CU sophomore Aaron Chalstrom led the Bluejays on court six as the only CU player to win a set on the day. He won the first stanza 6-4 but fell 6-3 in the second forcing a third set tiebreak. Chalstrom came up just short scoring six in the third set tiebreak to drop the contest.
Creighton hosts Omaha for its next match on Tuesday.
