Martin took 18th place in the field of 254 collegiate competitors, with a time of 17:14.3 over the University of Arkansas Cross Country Course that measured 5,000 meters. In school history, only Lauren Ogg's time of 17:05 last fall at this same meet has been better.
Vanessa Miller was Creighton's second-best finisher, taking 42nd place with a time of 17:37.53 that ranks fifth on the program's all-time best list. It was 50 seconds better than her previous 5K best as a Bluejay.

Missouri's Karissa Schweizer won the race by nearly 10 seconds with a time of 16:09.83, topping Arkansas' Devin Clark's 16:19.36.
