Bluejays Fall to Drake in Final Rowing Duel of Spring Season

Omaha, Neb. -- The Creighton rowing team fell in the Bluejays' final duel race of the spring season to Drake on Saturday, April 22.
The Bluejays and Bulldogs competed in four different races Saturday morning with Creighton claiming the 2nd varsity 8+ race and in a varsity 4+ BÂ contest. Drake, however, earned the victory with wins in the varsity 4+ A and the varsity 8+ races to earn the overall win.The overall winner was determined by the results of the varsity 8+, 2nd varsity + and the varsity 4+ A races.

The Bluejays will spend the next three weeks training for the West Coast Conference Championships held on May 13 in Sacramento, Calif.
