Bluejays competed for first time since November of 2019
OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton rowing team dropped a 4-0 decision during a home regatta against Kansas State at Carter Lake on Saturday.
Saturday's match marked the first regatta for the Bluejays since November 9, 2019 against Drake.
Creighton and K-State competed in four matches as the Wildcats took all three by at least 22 seconds.
"We rowed well and I'm very proud of the team," head coach Dan Chipps said. "It had been 504 days since we last raced. It's great to be back on the water and racing."
Creighton is slated to return to the water on April 17 for a home regatta against Drake.
