Tulsa, Okla. -- Creighton Rowing made significant progress in a matchup with Tulsa on Saturday, March 23, but dropped the four races with Tulsa.
The Bluejays host Kansas State in a Regatta on Saturday, April 6.
"All of our boats had solid races and I feel we are making progress towards our goal of our conference championships in May,"s said head coach Dan Chipps. "We used several first year rowers in all of our boats today. They are making great progress and we are looking at getting others healthy as we look towards Kansas State in two weeks."
"One rower in the third varsity eight jumped her seat off the track 500 meters into a 2000 meters race but never gave up! So proud of the commitment to teammates that her and the whole team showed today as we had to make some last minute changes to boating! It was a great team effort today," concluded Chipps.
