Volleyball Remains 10th in RPI; Ascends To 12th in AVCA Poll

The No. 12 ranking matches a season-best, as the Bluejays were also 12th in the preseason poll released on Aug. 6. CU had been 13th each of the previous three weeks.
The Bluejays have won 12 matches in a row and are 17-5 on the season after sweeping Providence and Connecticut last weekend.
The Bluejays are one of 11 schools (along with Baylor, Kentucky, Louisville, Nebraska, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Stanford, Texas and Wisconsin) to have been ranked each of the last 72 polls. The streak began on Sept. 6, 2021 and is a program-record.
Creighton has been ranked in all but six of the past 141 times the AVCA has put out a Top 25 poll and 149 times in program history, which ranks 37th-most all-time. Creighton is 250-53 all-time when playing as a ranked team in the AVCA poll.
Including 2025, Creighton has spent at least one week in the Top 25 each of the last 14 seasons. CU's all-time best ranking in program history is No. 5, which came four straight weeks last November (Nov. 4, Nov. 11, Nov. 18, Nov. 25, 2024).
Nebraska remained in the top spot after a 20-0 start that includes seven Top 25 wins and is ahead of Texas, Kentucky, Pittsburgh and Stanford.
Creighton plays a pair of home matches this weekend, hosting DePaul on Friday at 11:30 a.m. and Marquette on Saturday at 7 p.m.
