
Volleyball Moves Up To 13th in AVCA Poll; Now 8th in RPI

The Bluejays has won six matches in a row and are 11-5 on the season after defeating Marquette (3-0) and DePaul (3-1) last week.Â
Creighton moved from 14th to 13th, passing Minnesota after the Gophers lost to unranked Michigan.
The Bluejays are one of 11 schools (along with Baylor, Kentucky, Louisville, Nebraska, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Stanford, Texas and Wisconsin) to have been ranked each of the last 69 polls. The streak began on Sept. 6, 2021 and is a program-record.
Creighton has been ranked in all but six of the past 138 times the AVCA has put out a Top 25 poll and 146 times in program history, which ranks 38th-most all-time. Creighton is 244-53 all-time when playing as a ranked team in the AVCA poll.
Including 2025, Creighton has spent at least one week in the Top 25 each of the last 14 seasons. CU's all-time best ranking in program history is No. 5, which came four straight weeks last November (Nov. 4, Nov. 11, Nov. 18, Nov. 25, 2024).
Nebraska remained in the top spot after a 14-0 start that includes six Top 25 wins and is ahead of Texas, Kentucky, Pittsburgh and Louisville.
Creighton will play two more road matches this weekend, visiting Georgetown (10-7, 3-1 BIG EAST) on Friday and Villanova (12-3, 3-1 BIG EAST) on Saturday. Both matches will begin at 6 p.m. Central.
