Volleyball Moves to 7th in RPI; Holds Steady at 12th in AVCA Poll

The No. 12 ranking matches a season-best, as the Bluejays were also 12th in the preseason poll released on Aug. 6 as well as each of the past two weeks. The No. 7 spot in the RPI also matches a season-best previously done on Oct. 13.
The Bluejays have won 16 matches in a row and 21-5 on the season after defeating Villanova (3-1) and Georgetown (3-0) last week.
The Bluejays are one of 11 schools (along with Baylor, Kentucky, Louisville, Nebraska, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Stanford, Texas and Wisconsin) to have been ranked each of the last 74 polls. The streak began on Sept. 6, 2021 and is a program-record.
Creighton has been ranked in all but six of the past 143 times the AVCA has put out a Top 25 poll and 151 times in program history, which ranks 37th-most all-time. Creighton is 254-53 all-time when playing as a ranked team in the AVCA poll.
Including 2025, Creighton has spent at least one week in the Top 25 each of the last 14 seasons. CU's all-time best ranking in program history is No. 5, which came four straight weeks last November (Nov. 4, Nov. 11, Nov. 18, Nov. 25, 2024).
Nebraska remained in the top spot after a 24-0 start that includes nine Top 25 wins and is ahead of Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Texas and Stanford.
Creighton returns to the court on Friday at 6 p.m. Central with a match at St. John's that will air on ESPN+.
