Volleyball Stays 12th in AVCA Poll; Climbs to No. 8 in RPI

The No. 12 ranking matches a season-best, as the Bluejays were also 12th in the preseason poll released on Aug. 6 and again last week.
The Bluejays have won 14 matches in a row and are 19-5 on the season after defeating DePaul (3-0) and Marquette (3-2) last week.
The Bluejays are one of 11 schools (along with Baylor, Kentucky, Louisville, Nebraska, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Stanford, Texas and Wisconsin) to have been ranked each of the last 73 polls. The streak began on Sept. 6, 2021 and is a program-record.
Creighton has been ranked in all but six of the past 142Â times the AVCA has put out a Top 25 poll and 150 times in program history, which ranks 37th-most all-time. Creighton is 252-53 all-time when playing as a ranked team in the AVCA poll.
Including 2025, Creighton has spent at least one week in the Top 25 each of the last 14 seasons. CU's all-time best ranking in program history is No. 5, which came four straight weeks last November (Nov. 4, Nov. 11, Nov. 18, Nov. 25, 2024).
Nebraska remained in the top spot after a 22-0 start that includes eight Top 25 wins and is ahead of Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Texas and Stanford.
Creighton is back in action on Friday at 7:30 p.m. when it hosts Villanova to open its final homestand of the season.
