Omaha, Neb. -- Working through weather delays of close to three hours, Creighton Rowing persevered to deliver a 3-0 sweep of Drake in a dual regatta on Saturday, March 29.
The Bluejays performed admirably posting better than a four second win in the Varsity 8 race. In the Varsity 4 race each of Creighton's boats bested Drake by more than a full minute, while the 2V8 race saw Creighton win by more than seven full seconds.
"I was very proud with the way our squad remained mentally prepared in spite of the weather delays," said head coach Dan Chipps. "The continued effort of our work this season was on display today."
The Bluejays return to competition at home on Saturday, April 12 as Creighton will host Tulsa in a regatta at 9:00 a.m.
