Men’s Tennis Falls at No. 59 Tulsa, 4-1

TULSA, Okla. -- The Creighton men's tennis fell 4-1 to No. 59 Tulsa on Sunday morning at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla.
The Bluejays moved their overall record to 13-9, while the Golden Hurricane improved to 13-12 overall with their fourth consecutive victory.
Junior Zachary Kuo earned Creighton's lone victory with a straight-sets win at the No. 4 singles position. Kuo picked up a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Tulsa's Connor Doig before Golden Hurricane earned victories at the No. 1, No. 3 and No. 5 singles positions to clinch the victory.
Tulsa secured the doubles point with wins at the top two doubles positions. The 50th-ranked doubles team of Alex Okonkwo and Timothy Seger picked up a 6-1 win on the No. 1 doubles court, while Luis Felipe Miguel and Gud Tettamble combined for a 6-2 victory on the No. 2 doubles court to clinch the first point of the match.
Creighton's Max Stollecker also claimed the first set of his match at the No. 6 singles position, before the overall dual was decided.
The Bluejays will wrap up the regular season on Sunday, April 13 with a doubleheader against Washington University (Saint Louis) and Saint Louis at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in Saint Louis.
