Men's Soccer Announces Final Two Additions for 2025 Squad

Kolotas and Weber Fortify Creighton Midfield
Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton men's soccer head coach Johnny Torres announced the addition of Georgios Kolotas (Paphos, Cyprus) and Landon Weber (St. Louis, Mo.) to the 2025 team. The Bluejays head into fall camp in less than one month (August 5) with 29 players on the roster.Â
An international addition from Paphos, Cyprus, Kolotas played club soccer for Pafos FC. Expected to be a midfielder for the Bluejays, he attended high school at Lyceum giannaki talioti geroskipou.
"It is exciting to add a player like Kolo to our team. He brings a wealth of experience including representing his country and playing at a professional academy abroad," said Torres. "He is competitive, good on both sides of the ball, a player with great vision and technical ability. Additionally, he has a great demeanor and will add charisma to the group."
A United Soccer Coaches Association All-American, Weber is an attacking midfielder from Missouri. He played club soccer for St Louis Scott Gallagher ECNL alongside incoming Bluejay Sam Leonard and attended DeSmet Jesuit High School in Chesterfield.
"Landon is a great addition to our team: he is a very hard-working powerful, strong, and technically sound player," noted Torres. "These are qualities that we look for in players, as they suit our style of play. We are thrilled to add him, I know he will add special qualities to the locker room, the community, and the team!"
