Amrit Singh, Head Coach, Women's Ice Hockey
Canada native Amrit Singh will lead the development of the women's hockey program. His primary goals for the upcoming year include promoting the program, engaging current Creighton students, and beginning practices with interested players. He will also be actively recruiting high school athletes, with the aim of building a roster that combines this year's participants with a strong group of incoming freshmen in Fall 2026, marking the official start of competitive play.
Amrit currently lives in Omaha and works as a Project Manager for Gallagher. A lifelong hockey fan who attended high school in Canada, he brings several years of coaching experience at both the youth and high school levels. His passion for the sport and leadership experience will be instrumental in launching and growing the women's program at Creighton.
Annie Mata, Asst. Coach, Women's Ice Hockey
Annie Mata will be joining Coach Singh as a volunteer assistant coach for the women's hockey team. A 2016 Creighton graduate, Annie currently works as a nurse in Council Bluffs. Originally from Minnesota, she grew up playing hockey and brings a lifelong passion for the game to the program. Annie is excited to support Coach Singh in building the women's hockey team and expanding opportunities for women to compete at the collegiate level.
Dominic Galuppo, Asst. Coach, Men's Lacrosse
Dominic Galuppo will join the men's lacrosse team as a volunteer assistant coach. A Southern California native, Dominic brings over 13 years of playing experience to the role, including three seasons at Creighton University, where he also served as President of the men's club lacrosse team. He recently graduated from Creighton in May with a degree in Computer Science and Information Technology. In addition to his playing background, Dominic has two years of coaching experience with youth lacrosse programs in the Omaha area. His leadership and deep understanding of the game make him a great addition to the coaching staff.

We are excited to welcome Olle Akermark as the assistant volunteer coach for the men's hockey team. A native of Sweden, Olle joins fellow countryman Martin Sundberg as they prepare to lead Premier Hockey into its inaugural season.

He competed at the collegiate level with Suffolk University in Boston, where he served as team captain during his junior and senior seasons. He earned a bachelor's degree in Finance and currently works as a Financial Services Representative at Charles Schwab.
Olle has coached youth development camps across multiple age groups, emphasizing both on-ice skill development and off-ice strength training. We're excited to have him bring his leadership, experience, and energy to our program.
