Bluejay Softball Announces 2026 Promotional Schedule

Omaha, Neb. -- With the 2026 home opener only three weeks away, there's no better time to unveil the 2026 Creighton Softball promotional calendar!Â
Creighton will host 16 home games during the 2026 season, including monster non-conference matchups with Nebraska, Omaha, Iowa State and South Dakota. In addition, the Bluejays will host BIG EAST Conference series versus Providence, Villanova, Georgetown and DePaul.Â

The Bluejays open the 2026 home slate and the brand-new Creighton Softball Stadium with its Opening Weekend with the Jays themed BIG EAST series against Providence on March 13-15. CU will then host its annual Staff/Teacher Appreciation game on March 18 at 6 p.m. against Iowa State with free staff/faculty tickets and a wristlet giveaway.Â

Creighton will once again host their heroes weekend for the BIG EAST series against Villanova with appreciations for first responders & doctors on Friday, March 20 at 5 p.m., Military on Saturday, March 21 at 2 p.m. and educators on Sunday, March 22 at 12 p.m.Â

You will not want to miss the highly anticipated BLUE OUT showdown with Nebraska on March 31 at 5 p.m., which will include a limited-edition cartoon-character t-shirt giveaway, a toy drive benefiting RMHC of Omaha, as well as bracelet-making and poster-making stations.Â

Additional promotions include a Decades Weekend during the April 10-12 series against Georgetown and a Bark in the Park game against Omaha on April 28, as well as a Pink Out Cancer Awareness game, an Alumni Day and a Fan Appreciation game during the Bluejays series against DePaul on May 1-3.Â

Join us for the Lil' Jays game on April 7 at 6 p.m. as CU hosts South Dakota. The Lil' Jays day activations include an Easter basket giveaway and a postgame Easter egg hunt with the Bluejays on the field.Â

Lil' Jays Kid's Club games include Wednesday, March 18 vs. Iowa State at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 7 vs. South Dakota at 6:00 p.m., and Sunday, April 12 vs. Georgetown at 12:00 p.m. All Lil' Jays Club members can claim a free ticket to these games along with one free parent ticket.Â
Running promotions for the year include:
Trading Card Friday:Â Grab your favorite Bluejay player's trading card! Selected players will be featured at each Friday matchup.Â
Saturday Bingo: All fans will have the opportunity to play softball bingo for prizes!
Sunday Runday:Â Youth, under the age of 12, can run the bases at the conclusion of the March 29th and May 10th games! Please, wear tennis shoes if you plan to participate.Â
