Bluejay Rowing Bests Central Oklahoma to Close Out Spring Break Trip

Edmond, Okla. -- Closing out the annual spring break trip that signifies the start of its spring competition season, Creighton Rowing defeated Central Oklahoma with victories in both the Varsity 8+ and Varsity 4+ races on Saturday, March 14.
The Bluejays got the race started with a victory of over 20 seconds in the Varsity 8+ battle, then clinched the dual regatta as both of Creighton's Varsity 4+ boats defeated UCO.
"We had a great week of practice and I am very excited about how we performed on the water today," said head coach Dan Chipps. "This is a wonderful start to our spring season. We'll head home and prepare for a tough Drake squad in two weeks."
Creighton now will return home to face Drake in Omaha on March 28.
