Green Named to All-Tournament Team at College Basketball Crown

LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Creighton junior forward Jasen Green has been named to the All-Tournament Team at the College Basketball Crown after leading the Bluejays to the semifinals.
Green averaged 15.0 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game in a pair of contests while also shooting 57.1 percent from the floor.
The Omaha native had 16 points, nine rebounds, two assists and two blocks while sinking 7-of-10 shots from the field in Creighton's 82-69 win over Rutgers on Thursday.
Green followed that up with his first career double-double, as he had 14 points and a career-high 12 rebounds while adding a pair of blocked shots against West Virginia.
For the season, Green averaged 10.5 points and led the team with 6.3 rebounds and 0.9 blocks shots per game.
West Virginia defeated Oklahoma, 89-82 in overtime, on Sunday in the title game of the second-year event. West Virginia's Honor Huff was named Tournament MVP after scoring 38 points in the final. He was joined on the All-Tournament Team by Creighton's Jasen Green, West Virginia's Brenan Lorient, Oklahoma's Nijel Pack and Baylor's Cameron Carr.
