Bluejay Volleyball owns nation's highest-ranked women's media guide
OMAHA, Neb. -- Three members of Creighton's Athletic Communications Office were honored by College Sports Communicators during the organization's annual Creative & Digital Design Contest.
Assistant AD/Director of Athletic Communications Rob Anderson, Associate Director of Athletic Communications Glen Sisk and Assistant Director of Athletic Communications Patrick Davis were all recognized for their work on the Creighton's 2025 Volleyball Media Guide that was voted sixth-best nationally among all Division I media guides in all sports. None of the five publications to finish ahead of Creighton were for a women's sport.
This is the ninth time since 2007-08 that a publication related to Creighton Volleyball has received acclaim from CSC. Creighton Volleyball was initially honored in following the 2007-08 campaign for having the eighth-best media guide. The 2012 and 2021 media guides were both named Best in Nation, while in 2015 CU was recognized for Best Women's Volleyball Game Program. CU was also a runner up for its 2019 Volleyball Media Guide, 2019 Volleyball Notes and 2017 Volleyball Game Program. Most recently, Creighton's 2023 Volleyball Media Guide was tabbed ninth-best in the nation, and tops among all media guides in any women's sport.
The 2025 Creighton Volleyball Media Guide outside covers were designed by Justin Kreutzian.
Oklahoma State's Men's Golf media guide took the top spot in the Best Media Guide category of the University Division, just ahead of Oklahoma's media guide for Football. The rest of the top five consisted of West Virginia's media guide for Football and the Kansas media guide for Football.
Creighton was the only BIG EAST school, and the only Division I school in Nebraska, to be recognized.
The 2025-26 awards give the Creighton Sports Information Office 30 awards and honors in the last 19 years for its excellence in publications, writing and overall service to the media, including at least one recognition 10 of the past 11 years.
