Announcing Chris Tauber, Director of Premier Club Sports

We are pleased to announce that Chris Tauber has been appointed as the next Director of Premier Club Sports at Creighton University.Â
Chris brings an exceptional combination of leadership, operations management, program development, and student-centered mentoring that makes him uniquely qualified to lead and grow our Premier Club Sports program.Â
Throughout his career, Chris has demonstrated a strong ability to build successful programs, manage complex operations, and develop meaningful relationships with participants, families, staff, and community partners. Most recently, he has served as Director of Franchising for Sport Clips, overseeing operations, facilities, vendor partnerships, budgets, and strategic planning across ten franchise locations. His work has focused on creating systems that enhance efficiency, accountability, and long-term organizational success.Â
Prior to Sports Clips, Chris spent nearly a decade with Habitat for Humanity of Omaha and early in his career he served as a Certified Family Teacher at Boys Town. His deep dedication to mentorship, personal development, and creating environments where students can thrive align closely with the mission and values of Creighton University.    Â
Chris also brings extensive experience in athletics and youth development. He has served as Head Coach of Freshman Baseball at Millard West High School since 2018, leading a highly competitive program while mentoring student-athletes, managing staff, and organizing major events. In addition, he has been an assistant basketball coach, a longtime Nebraska high school football official, and a leader in local youth baseball organizations.Â
Chris Tauber got off to an early start this past Saturday, joining Dr. Mary Chase and the Premier Club Sports staff in welcoming to campus our 48 new Premier Club Sports student-athletes at our opening New Student Meet-Up event. This event allowed our incoming players and their families to have some quality face-to-face time with our coaches and professional staff as we celebrated the start of year two.Â
We are excited for the experience, energy, and vision Chris will bring to Premier Club Sports and look forward to his many contributions in the coming year.Â
