2025Â (Sophomore)
- Nissen chose to redshirt this season and did not see any action on the field.Â
2024Â (Freshman)
- In his first season, Eli appeared in 15 games from the mound, starting eight.
- He pitched 44.2 innings, the second most on the team, allowing 41 hits, and 23 runs, and struck out 40 batters.
- Nissen earned his first win as a pitcher against South Dakota State on March 19 with four shutout innings, striking out seven batters, and allowing two hits.Â
2019-23 (Minot HS)
- Eli earned two letters in baseball with the Magicians.
- He earned the 2023 North Dakota Gatorade Player of the Year.
- Nissen guided the Magicians to the Western Dakota Association State Tournament, compiling a 4-0 record with a 0.00 ERA, holding opposing batters to a .057 average. He fanned 50 hitters in 22 innings, including a 17-strikeout perfect game against Bismarck.Â
- The top prospect in the Class of 2023 according to Perfect Game, Nissen also played for the FTB Phillies 2023 American Scout Team in Sanford, Florida.
- A member of both Minot’s Honor Society and Student Council, Nissen also volunteered as a church usher and on behalf of Special Olympics baseball.Â
- In the classroom Nissen delivered a 4.0 GPA.
