In his first season with the Bluejays Ramadan started all 16 contests he appeared in and logged better than 1,292 minutes, ... In seven matches, Omar played the entire 90 minutes ... He punished his former DePaul squad with a goal and an assist in Creighton’s 2-1 road victory over the Blue Demons on Sept. 23 ... Ramadan’s second goal of the season helped the Bluejays best No. 7 Akron 3-2 on Oct. 18 ... In the classroom Ramadan was exceptional, earning CSC Academic All-District honors.
2022 (Covid Sophomore at DePaul)
Ramadan saw action in 17 contests, earning 15 starts ... He delivered three assists for the Blue Demons, all coming in draws against Butler (1-1 on Sept. 17), Georgetown (1-1 on Oct. 8) and Villanova (1-1 on Nov. 2).
2021 (Sophomore at DePaul)
Omar played and started each of DePaul’s 17 contests in 2021, logging 1,296 minutes ... He scored the game-winning goal in a 3-2 overtime win against Villanova on Oct. 20 ... Ramadan also tallied assists in wins over St. Thomas (3-1 on Sept. 2) and Connecticut (2-1 on Sept. 25).
2020 (Freshman at DePaul)
Ramadan saw action in nine contests as a freshman, all in a starting role ... He closed the season with three assists, including one against Creighton on March 13 in a 2-1 win ... That performance brought Omar the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week honors on March 15 ... He played a combined 765 minutes, including a season-high 110 against Northern Illinois on Feb. 17.

A graduate of Huntley High School, Ramadan played club soccer for Sockers FC Chicago where he started 73 games and scored seven goals ... He was ranked in Top Drawer Soccer’s Top 150 Players for 2020 ... Omar was selected for Egyptian U20 National Team camp, preparing for the World Cup Qualifiers.Â

The son of Ahmed Gad and Tagrid El Shalakany, Omar has three siblings: Ali, Nadia and Youssef ... Soccer runs deep throughout the Ramadan family as his father, Ahmed, was a former professional soccer player in Egypt and Dubai’s first divisions ... In addition his sister, Nadia, is a member of Egypt’s women’s national team and plays soccer at Alabama ... Omar’s brother, Ali, is also on the Bluejay soccer team ... Having already earned his undergraduate degree, Omar is pursuing an MBA in business intelligence analytics.
