2017 (Sophomore):
An ever-present in goal for the Bluejays, Meola played every minute of the 2017 campaign ... She logged her season-high in saves in a match against Marquette on Oct. 22, recording 15 saves ... McKenzie recorded 11 saves on two separate occasions, against Wisconsin (Aug. 24) and in a win against Kansas State (Sept. 10) ... A nine save effort against Georgetown on Oct. 5 helped Meola earn BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week (Oct. 9) ... She averaged 6.4 saves per game.
2016 (Freshman):
After collecting a win and a tie in her first two matches, Meola quickly seized the Bluejays’ starting goalkeeper slot ... She started 13 of the Bluejays’ 17 contests, including the final six ... McKenzie earned the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week honor on Sept. 5, posting a win on Sept. 4 (2-1 over South Dakota State) and a 1-1 tie with Kansas State on Sept. 2 ... In those two matches Meola collected a combined six saves ... The accolades continued on Oct. 10 as she grabbed the BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week nod by posting consecutive shutouts of Seton Hall (4-0 on Oct. 6) and St. John’s (2-0 on Oct. 9).
High School:
Meola graduated from Marian HS, where she led the Crusaders to the 2016 Class A Nebraska state title with a 2-0 shutout win ... McKenzie and the Crusaders also claimed the State Championship in 2014 and were the runner-up in 2015 ... McKenzie earned 2016 All-Nebraska Honorable Mention from the Omaha World-Herald and also claimed All-Metro Second Team in 2015 ... Off the pitch, Meola was a member of the National Honor Society.

The daughter of Tom Meola and Staci Witkowski, McKenzie was born in Omaha, Nebraska ... She has three siblings; Sydney, Maddie and Nathan ... An undeclared major, McKenzie is the step-sister to former Bluejay great Brittney Neumann (2009-12).
