Koca/Dippel Advance To Round Of 32 In Doubles Play At ITA Regionals

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- In Day Two of the ITA Regionals in Fayetteville, Ark., Creighton's doubles duo of Alex Koca and Quinn Dippel earned a first-round victory on Friday and advanced to the Round of 32 before suffering a setback.
Koca and Dippel teamed up to defeat SIU-Edwardsville's tandem of Lineberry/Desse, 8-4, in the first round of action on Friday, securing Creighton's duo a spot in the Round of 32.
In the Round of 32, the duo was bested by Tulsa's Carlos Bautista and Juan Matias Gonzalez, 8-2.
The Bluejays will continue play in the ITA Regionals on Saturday.
