
Men's Tennis Drubs Bucknell 6-1 to End Florida Trip

ORLANDO – The Creighton men's tennis team drubbed Bucknell 6-1 at the Fort Gatlin Recreation Complex on Thursday afternoon.
Creighton (11-2) has now won seven of its last eight matches. Bucknell (5-6) managed one point against the Bluejays.
The Bluejays won two out of three doubles matches as junior Nick Thompson and sophomore Harrison Lang scored an 8-5 win on court five and junior August Nysted and freshman Alex Koca posted an 8-7 victory at No. 2 doubles.
Two Jays racked up 6-0, 6-1 singles decisions in Koca and senior Elliot Baker on courts three and five, respectively. Sophomore Aaron Chalstrom recorded a 6-1, 6-3 victory at No. 6 singles wile junior Quinn Dippel doubled up his opponent 6-3, 6-3 in the No. 2 spot.
Lang produced a three-set victory on court four. After dropping the first set 6-3, Lang flipped the score to 6-3 in his favor in the second stanza and went on to win the third set superbreaker 10-7 to secure the win.
Bucknell's lone point came on court one.
Creighton is back in action on March 28 at Wichita State.
