Men's Tennis Falls to DePaul, 6-1

Omaha, Neb. -- The Creighton men's tennis team suffered a 6-1 defeat to BIG EAST Conference rival DePaul on Saturday, April 16.

The loss dropped the Bluejays to 6-9 during 2016, while DePaul improved to 8-13.

Creighton's lone victory came in singles competition as junior Harrison Lang (Niwot, Colo.) rallied to claim a third set tiebreaker from DePaul's Alex Galoustian (6-3, 4-6, 1-0). Lang earned the third set with a 10-8 win in the tiebreaker.

Creighton will be back in action on Sunday, April 17 as the Bluejays battle Western Illinois at 10:00 am.
