Omaha, Neb. -- Facing a team picked to win their respective conference for the third consecutive game, Creighton Women's Basketball faces off with #10 Kansas State in a nationally televised game on ESPN2 at 5:30 pm on Thursday, November 14.

Jensen Secures Win in Home Opener with Double-Double
Despite not taking a shot for the first seven minutes of the game, senior Lauren Jensen was sizzling hot in the Bluejays' 80-72 win over Drake on Nov. 11. She equaled her career-high with 32 points, draining 12-of-16 shots. Lauren connected on six shots from long range and grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds.
Factoring in her 23 points in the opener at South Dakota State, Jensen is the first Bluejay with at least 23 points in the first two games of the season since the 1998-99 campaign.
Jensen Coming Out Strong
Lauren Jensen opened each of the last three seasons with strong performance.
She dropped 30 on #23 South Dakota State in 2022-23, then delivered 23 points in each of the last two seasons.
She was 10-for-20 against the Jackrabbits in 2022-23. Against North Dakota State last year, Jensen went 10-for-15. Then this season versus SDSU she was 9-for-21.
Maly Prefers Game Number Two
While Jensen has feasted in the opener, Morgan Maly enjoys the second game.
Maly notched two of her seven career double-doubles in the second game of 2022-23 and again in the second game of 2023-24.
This season against Drake, Maly dropped 20 points on the Bulldogs. Last season she delivered 30 points and 10 rebounds, while two years ago she closed the 74-51 win on Nov. 10 over South Dakota with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
