NCCGA National Qualifier Results - Men's and Women's Premier Golf

Ames, Iowa -- The Men's and Women's Premier Club Golf teams hit the road once again this past weekend to compete against top-talent from the NCCGA in the National Qualifier Tournament held at Veenker Memorial Golf Course. The Men's team finished 4th overall, and the Women's team, once again the only women's team to make it out for the competition, finished 8th.

The highlight result of the weekend came from Ethan Ivany, who was able to finish 2nd overall in the tournament with a Round 1 score of 75 and Round 2 score of 73, finishing +4 and just two strokes away from the leader. While only the top finisher at the weekend was guaranteed a position at the Nationals tournament in the Spring, Ivany's back-to-back strong performances are sure to keep both himself and the team driven as they continue their first year in collegiate competition. Owen Schliesman scored a 163 (+19) and finished 18th.

Ryan O'Rourke scored a 164 (+20) and finished tied-19th.
