
Mondiri Garners United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-West Region Second Team Honors

OMAHA, Neb. – Creighton women's soccer senior Ariana Mondiri garnered United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-West Region Second Team honors on Tuesday, Dec. 23.
Mondiri is the first Bluejay in program history to be recognized on the United Soccer Coaches Scholar-Athlete All-Region Team and earlier this month became one of just ten Bluejays to earn multiple College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors.
The Evry, France native led the Bluejays and ranked tied for seventh in the BIG EAST with 19 points on a team-high eight goals and three assists. Mondiri consistently delivered for the Jays, scoring at least one point in 10 of Creighton's 19 matches this season. Overall Mondiri netted 16 career goals and dished out six career assists, having logged more than 2,700 minutes as a Bluejay.
Last month, Mondiri collected All-BIG EAST First Team honors for a second consecutive season, becoming just the sixth Bluejays since joining the BIG EAST in 2013 to earn multiple all-conference recognitions. In addition, Mondiri became just the fifth Bluejay since 2013 and the 11th Bluejay in program history to garner United Soccer Coaches All-East Region acclaim.
Creighton finished the 2025 season with a 7-8-4 record and reached the semifinals of the BIG EAST Tournament for just the second time since joining the league in 2013.
