Scouting Tarleton State (2026: 5-3)
The Riders opened the season with a three-game sweep of Le Moyne, followed by a loss at #7 Arkansas. Last weekend Tarleton State dropped two of three against South Dakota State, then collected a win over Incarnate Word on Tuesday.Â
Tarleton State enters the REV Tournament hitting .312 as a team, led by Brady Englett (.423) and Slade McCloud (.407).Â
On the mound the Riders have a 3.71 ERA, with 30 walks and 59 strikeouts.
Scouting Abilene Christian (2026: 5-3)
After taking three of four from St. Thomas to open the season, ACU also took two of three against Oral Roberts last weekend.
The Wildcats have plated 61 runs over eight games, hitting .264 as a team. The leader at the plate is Maddox Miesse (.474) and Diego Cardenas (.345).
On the bump the Wildcats posted a 5.79 ERA with 35 walks and 79 strikeouts.Â
Scouting the Bluejays (2026: 2-4)
The Bluejays return trip to California saw Creighton drop three games in the Tony Gwynn Legacy Tournament last weekend. Creighton's opening game with UC San Diego was a heartÂ
breaking loss, falling 8-7.Â
At the plate the Bluejays enter the weekend hitting .271 as a squad, led by Nate McHugh (.375) and Teddy Deters (.364). While on the mound the Bluejays' ERA rose to 8.44 with 25 walks and 46 strikeouts.
