Volleyball To Be Televised At Least 11 Times in 2026

OMAHA, Neb. -- The 2026 Creighton Volleyball schedule features at least 11 televised match-ups that will air across a variety of six networks this fall.
The Bluejays will be seen on FOX, BTN, FS1, ESPN2, Nebraska Public Media and News Channel Nebraska at various times this fall. Additionally, more than a dozen other contests are booked for ESPN+, with portions of CU's road broadcast schedule still being finalized. Creighton has won 57 straight non-televised matches entering 2026.
The regular-season starts up on Aug. 28 when FOX televises Creighton's match vs. No. 9 Purdue in a highly-anticipated battle of teams coming off back-to-back Elite Eight appearances.
One day later Creighton makes the first of four appearances on FS1 when the Bluejays square up against No. 14 Minnesota. FS1 will also broadcast Creighton's Sept. 20 home match against defending national champion Texas A&M, an Oct. 22 tussle vs. Connecticut and the Jays Oct. 29 contest at Marquette.
Creighton closes out play at the 2026 State Farm Volleyball Showcase on Aug. 30 with a clash against No. 20 USC, one of two Bluejay matches on BTN this fall. BTN will also broadcast Creighton's Sept. 16 match at Nebraska inside Pinnacle Bank Arena.
ESPN2 pays a visit to D.J. Sokol Arena on Sept. 18 when it televises Creighton's home match against Kansas State. Production for that match will be handled internally out of the broadcast suite on the second floor of CU's home facility.
Three additional home matches will be televised statewide. Nebraska Public Media continues its longstanding relationship with CU Volleyball with the broadcast for CU's league matches against Xavier (Oct. 11) and Villanova (Nov. 15). News Channel Nebraska will carry its first broadcast of Bluejay Volleyball on Oct. 2 when DePaul pays a visit.
Creighton will host the BIG EAST Tournament, Presented by JEEP, with the title tilt scheduled to air on ESPNUÂ on Nov. 22.
Creighton opens its exhibition season on Aug. 16 with a match against South Dakota that will not be broadcast. Following a final exhibition at No. 15 Kansas six days later, the Bluejays open the season Aug. 28-30 at the 2026 State Farm Volleyball Showcase in Sioux Falls, S.D.
