Played baseball for Creighton Prep here in Omaha ... Helped lead team to a 27-6 record and state runner-up finish his senior season ... Put up a 4-2 record with a 2.10 ERA for his summer ball team ... Also added two saves and 54 strikeouts in 42 innings pitched ... Had high honors all eight semesters during high school ... Was a member of the National Honor Society and ranked in the top 25 in in class ... Also was a part of the tutors program and Big Brothers.
