Eisenhower High School
• Played his final two years at Eisenhower High School in Rialto.
• Won the John R. Wooden Award for Division II as state’s high school player of the year and was first-team all-state (all divisions).
• Led Eisenhower to the state title as a senior, scoring a team-best 17 points in the championship game as team finished 32-3.
• Team was first team from San Bernardino County to ever win a state basketball title and did not have a player taller than 6-4 on its roster.
• Averaged 21.3 points, 6.9 assists, 5.6 rebounds and 3.2 steals per game for the Eagles as a senior.
• Named to the 10-person Los Angeles Times All-Star Team along with other players headed for North Carolina, Florida State, Mississippi State, San Diego State, USC and UCLA.
• Team averaged 90 points per game in Citrus Belt League play, with a high of 127 points.
• As a junior, averaged 18 points and eight assists per game while shooting 86 percent at the line.
• Named Most Valuable Player of the Citrus Belt League while also earning first-team all-CIF honors in California’s Southern Section as a junior, when his team went 27-4 and reached the CIF semifinals.

• Owned a 3.8 GPA and played in the Academic All-American Classic.
Carter High School
• Earned all-league honors at Carter High School as both a freshman and sophomore, which is also located in Rialto, before transferring to Eisenhower.
• Was team MVP as a sophomore when team went 11-15 and he averaged 17 points and six assists per game.
• Team went 9-17 as a freshman when he averaged 11 points and five assists per game.
