CREIGHTON CAREER: 2009 (Freshman) – Started the final 25 games of the season at catcher after an injury to senior Laura Kratochvil ... Started 35 of the 42 games in which she appeared, 29 at catcher and six as the designated player ... Went 1-for-2 with an RBI against Texas A&M Corpus Christi in her first start (Feb. 14) ... Smashed a pinch-hit, two-run home run against Saint Louis on Feb. 20 ... Went 2-for-3 with a double, RBI and run scored against Indiana State (April 10) for her only multiple-hit game of the season ... Her six-game hitting streak from April 22-29 was the second longest on the team in 2009 ... Hit .333 (6-18) during her six-game hitting streak ... Gunned down six runners attempting to steal, including three in the last seven games.
HIGH SCHOOL: Two-time first-team all-state catcher ... Also twice tabbed first-team all-area and first-team all-conference ... Hit .409 as a junior when she was tabbed the honorary captain of the All-State Class A team ... Set school record for doubles in a career ...
