• Had career-high 10 blocks in BIG EAST Tournament title match sweep at Marquette (11/27).
• Opened senior season with nine kills and four blocks vs. Kansas City (8/27).
• Had six kills on .286 hitting in win vs. USC (9/3), then added seven kills and four blocks vs. UNI (9/4) one day later.
• Finished with six block assists in all three matches at the Bluejay Invitational (Sept. 10-11).

• Named to All-Tournament Team at BIG EAST Tournament after tying her career-high with 12 kills in back-to-back wins vs. Connecticut (April 2) and Marquette (April 3).
• Had three kills, two digs and a block vs. South Dakota (Jan. 29).
• Had six kills on .364 hitting in win at South Dakota (Jan. 31).
• Made first start of the season vs. No. 25 Marquette (Feb. 5), finishing with five kills and four blocks.
• Took advantage of March 5 start vs. DePaul, finishing with five kills and tying career-high with seven blocks.
• Reached double-figures for the first time when she had 10 kills and hit .571 in 3-0 win at Butler (March 12), then added nine kills a night later in a rematch against the Bulldogs.

• Came off the bench in each of CU’s first two matches of 2019, producing a kill and two digs.
• Missed team’s next 22 matches with an injury.
• Returned to competition on Nov. 16 with four kills, three digs and a block at Xavier, helping to offset the loss of injured teammate Erica Kostelac.
• Added three kills, two blocks and tied her career-high with five digs in 3-0 win at Butler (Nov. 17).
• Entered match vs. No. 9 Marquette with eight kills and three blocks all season before she registered eight kills and six blocks on .615 hitting in victory to clinch BIG EAST title (Nov. 22).
• Had six blocks and six kills against DePaul (Nov. 24), adding her first ace of the fall.
• Made her first start of 2019 season in BIG EAST Tournament semifinal vs. St. John’s, collecting five kills and two blocks (Nov. 29).
• Posted career-high nine kills in NCAA Tourney win vs. Iowa State (Dec. 6).
2018: Freshman at Creighton
• Started seven times and played in 54 sets and 25 matches overall.
• Averaged 0.70 kills, 0.70 blocks, 0.33 digs and 0.22 service aces per set.
• Her 0.70 blocks per set ranked fourth on the team.
• Started seven consecutive matches from Sept. 14-29.
• Provided four blocks against Iowa State (Sept. 7), then added four digs as well as a season-high seven blocks vs. Wichita State two days later.
• Had six kills, five digs and three blocks in first career start vs. Lipscomb (Sept. 14).
• Had five kills, a season-high five aces and three digs in win vs. Northern Iowa (Sept. 15).
• Owned three kills and one block in first meeting vs. Northern Iowa (Aug. 24).
• Finished with five blocks, three aces, two kills and two digs in 3-0 win over No. 21 Marquette (Sept. 23).
• Posted four blocks and a kill while appearing in just 15 points during a 3-0 win vs. Butler (Oct. 20).
• Was part of Creighton’s 10th-ranked recruiting class along with current teammates Jaela Zimmerman and Keeley Davis.
Park Hill South High School
• Recognized as a Third Team All-American by Under Armour in 2017.
• Collected more than 750 kills, 150 blocks and 50 aces in three varsity seasons, hitting over .390 each year.
• Team went a combined 83-15 in her three years with her on the varsity, going a collective 29-1 in league play while winning three Kansas City Metro Suburban Conference titles.
• Named AVCA Player of the Week for Missouri on Sept. 11, 2017.
• Selected to KC Metro All-Star Game.
• Averaged 4.6 kills, 1.3 blocks and 0.55 aces per set as a senior.
• Named First Team All-State, all-district and all-conference as both a junior and senior.
• Ranked second in the state of Missouri in Class 4 in hitting percentage (.395) as a senior after leading the state as a junior (.467).
• Won the prestigious Evelyn Gates Award in 2017, which is selected by high school coaches and honors a female high school varsity volleyball student-athlete that exhibits top tier skill, spirit and sportsmanship in the Kansas City area.
• Team won 31 matches as a junior and advanced to the state quarterfinals.
• Played for coach Karen Rule in high school and Gwen Pike, Adam Willey and Dave Johnson in club volleyball.
• Was part of the same club program (KC Power) as Creighton teammate Naomi Hickman, but on a different team.
• MVP of President’s Day Classic in St. Louis in February of 2018.
• Committed to Creighton in September of 2016.

• Daughter of Keith and Valerie Welty.
• Older brothers Hudson (MidAmerica Nazarene)and Ryan (Northwest Missouri State) both played college basketball.
• Brother Ryan won two NCAA titles (2017, 2019) and was featured by Sports Illustrated after he shot 52-of-78 (66.7 percent) from three-point range as a freshman. He ranks third all-time in NCAA Division II history in three-point percentage (51.1 percent; 238-466).
• A business management and marketing double major.
• Wears No. 11 because she was born on the 11th of May.
• Best birthday gift she ever got was a hamster named Bob.
• Life advice she’d offer is to do what makes you happy.
• Best volleyball memory is going to Europe with Creighton Volleyball in 2018.
• Favorite TV series to watch is The Office.
• Lists Australia as her dream vacation destination.
• Chose to attend Creighton because the coaches and players were so welcoming and made Creighton feel like home.
• Named Dr. Tim Bastian (Economics) as her favorite Creighton professor.
• Favorite BIG EAST city besides Omaha is Washington, D.C.
