Omaha, Neb. -- Given the privilege to host the BIG EAST's Third Annual Female Forward Broadcast, Creighton hosts Providence on Sunday, February 2 at 1:00 p.m. on FS1.

Third Annual BIG EAST Female Forward Women's Basketball Broadcast Set for Sunday
The BIG EAST Conference will partner with Invesco QQQ and Creighton University to celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day, on Sunday, Feb. 2.
The Creighton women's basketball team hosts Providence for a 1:00 p.m. CT tip at the D.J. Sokol Arena. The game will air on FS1 and feature an entirely female crew, including talent and production. This marks the third year in a row the BIG EAST has celebrated National Girls and Women in Sports Day by airing an all-female game.

Creighton's women's sports teams will host a pre-game youth clinic with participating teams including cross country and track, golf, rowing, soccer, softball, and volleyball. The Creighton Athletics Department and local partner Omaha EPIC for Girls will also introduce a Junior Professionals Program. Approximately 12 high school students will get a behind the scenes look at a variety of essential gameday positions by shadowing these professionals throughout the first half. These students will be paired with professional staff members in the areas of marketing and fan engagement, ticketing, athletic training, creative services, sports information, and broadcasting.

The FS1 broadcast will include Ashley Battle serving as game analyst and Jenny Cavnar handling play-by-play duties, while Meghan Caffrey will serve as sideline reporter. In the TV truck, Alison Vigil will produce while Erica Ferrero will direct. The production crew, including camera operators, replay operators, audio and graphics teams and technical director, will be entirely female led. The game officials will also be an entirely female lineup.
Mogensen Needs 49 Points to Become Second Bluejay with 1,000 Points, 500 Rebounds and 400 Assists
Senior Molly Mogensen enters the game with Providence with 951 points, 513 rebounds and 453 assists. She needs 49 points to join Sydney Lamberty (2014-18) as the second player in Creighton history with at least 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 400 assists. Sydney finished her career with 1,286 points, 653 rebounds and 497 assists. Once Mogensen crosses the 500 assist mark she will be the only Bluejay with 1,000/500/500.
Maly Approaching Bluejays' Three-Point Record
With one trey at Georgetown Morgan Maly moved into a tie with Bluejay great Kathy Halligan (1988-92) at 309 three-point field goals made.
