Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton Women's Tennis head coach Tom Lilly officially unveiled the Bluejays 2026 spring schedule on Friday, Dec. 19.
The Bluejays are slated to compete in 19 matches, including seven at the newly renovated Hanscom Tennis Center and two matches on the road against teams who finished last season ranked in the year-end Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings.
Lilly opens his 29th season on the Bluejays sideline with five road matches, beginning with a contest at Kansas on Jan. 24, before closing out January with conference matchups at Marquette (Jan. 30) and DePaul (Jan. 31).
CU will then take on Drake (Feb. 6) and Kansas City (Feb. 7) in Des Moines, before returning home for five consecutive matches at the Hanscom Tennis Center. The Jays will battle Gustavus in the home opener on Feb. 8 and host former Missouri Valley Conference rivals Northern Iowa (Feb. 13) and Missouri State (Feb. 14), before taking on Western Illinois (Feb. 21) and crosstown rival Omaha (Feb. 22).
Creighton hits the road for matches at North Dakota on Feb. 27 and a neutral site match against Minnesota Crookston, before taking their annual spring break trip down to Orlando, Florida.
While in the Sunshine State, the Bluejays will battle Providence on March 10, Xavier on March 11 and both Calvin University and East Texas Baptist on March 12. The Jays will then return to the Heartland for home matches against St. Thomas (March 28) and South Dakota (April 1), before closing out the regular season with a match on the road at Wichita State on April 11.
The BIG EAST Championships once again will take place in Cayce, S.C. on April 16-19.
All of the Bluejays' home matches will be open to the public with free admission. Creighton fans unable to make it out to the Hanscom Tennis Center can now watch the match live through Playsight or at gocreighton.com/watchwtennis.
