Creighton (7-7, 2-0 BIG EAST) opens October with a four-match homestand against BIG EAST foes, a stretch that starts on Friday against DePaul (10-3, 2-0 BIG EAST) at 6 p.m.

On Sunday, the Bluejays renew one of the league's top rivalries with a 1 p.m. contest against Marquette (7-5, 2-0 BIG EAST).

Both matches will be held at D.J. Sokol Arena in Omaha, Neb.

Prior to heading to Omaha this weekend, DePaul will host Marquette on Wednesday night.

Scouting Creighton

Creighton is 7-7 after starting league play 2-0 last weekend with road wins at Seton Hall (3-0) and St. John's (3-1). The Bluejays have played the nation's fifth-toughest schedule, and gone 2-4 in six matches against Top 25 teams.

The Bluejays have been led by three impact transfers. Trinity Shadd-Ceres (3.05 kps.) leads the team in kills, just ahead of Ayden Ames (2.36 kps.). Katie Dalton (7.43 aps.) is among three women who has seen significant reps at setter.

Eloise Brandewie ranks among the BIG EAST leaders with 1.29 blocks per set and Saige Damrow is among the best liberos with 4.34 digs per set.

As a team, Creighton averages 11.95 kills, 14.41 digs, 2.52 blocks and 1.32 aces per set on .177 hitting.

Scouting DePaul

DePaul entered Wednesday night's home match against Marquette with a 10-3 record, losing only to Nebraska, Penn State and Auburn. The Blue Demons are on their second four-match win streak of the fall and have started league play 2-0 for the third year in a row.

Kendall Timme (3.76 kps.), Isabela Tavares-Salomon (3.16 kps.) and Martina Diana (2.36 kps.) carry much of the offensive load, with Leonor Polezzi (8.67 aps.) directing the offense.

Nora Mannion (3.66 dps.) is the libero and Jade Epps (1.07 bps.) tops the team in blocking.

As a program, the Blue Demons average 13.20 kills, 13.71 digs, 2.02 blocks and 1.82 aces per set on .244 hitting.

Series History vs. DePaul

Creighton has won 29 of 30 previous meetings with DePaul, and is 29-0 vs. the Blue Demons since the two schools became BIG EAST rivals.

DePaul swept the first meeting in 2001 in DeKalb, Ill., before Creighton's recent run, which has included three five-set wins (in Omaha in 2015, spring 2021 and 2022), eight different four-set wins and 18 sweeps.

Creighton has swept 17 of the last 22 meetings at all sites, and has won 68 of its past 75 sets played against the Blue Demons.

Creighton's active 29-match win streak over DePaul is the program's longest ever against another foe.

Brian Rosen is 2-0 against DePaul and Marie Zidek. Zidek is 0-19 against Creighton.

Scouting Marquette

Marquette entered Wednesday's match at DePaul with a 7-5 record and four straight victories. The Golden Eagles have yet to be swept, losing in five sets to Texas and Illinois and in four frames at both Stanford and Wisconsin.

Ball State transfer Carson Tyler averages 4.18 kills, 2.49 digs and 0.47 aces per set on .268 hitting. Other key cogs on offense are Emma Parks (2.16 kps.), Tani Juric (2.13 kps.) and Caydence Doolan (2.09 kps.).

Molly Welge (1.34 bps.) is a top blocker and Luanna Markus (9.42 aps.) leads the BIG EAST in assists per set.

The Golden Eagles, who are 3-4 on the road, average 12.09 kills, 12.80 digs, 2.14 blocks and 1.53 aces per set on .224 hitting.

Series History vs. Marquette

Creighton is 32-7 all-time against Marquette, and are 28-4 since the start of the 2014 season against MU. Creighton is 8-0 against Marquette at the BIG EAST Tournament since 2015.

Creighton is 32-1 all-time against the Golden Eagles when winning at least one set, winning the last 28 such matches since a setback in the 2013 BIG EAST Tournament final. Creighton has also won all eight match-ups to go five sets.

Brian Rosen is 3-0 against both Marquette, and Tom Mendoza. Mendoza is 0-3 against Creighton.

Creighton Coaches

Brian Rosen is in his second season as Creighton head coach, where his 35-13 record with the Bluejays moves his career mark to 80-30 after four seasons. He is 20-0 all-time against BIG EAST teams, winning 60-of-65 sets.

Rosen was named the fourth head coach in modern Creighton Volleyball history on April 6, 2025, as he was promoted following the departure of 22-year head coach Kirsten Bernthal Booth. He became the BIG EAST's first rookie head coach since 2014 to win 20+ matches in his first year in the league, the only rookie head coach in league history to win multiple NCAA Tournament matches, and the first new coach to win 28+ matches in his first season.

Named the 2024 AVCA National Assistant Coach of the Year, Rosen served as a Creighton assistant from 2022-24, during which time CU went 88-13, swept the BIG EAST regular-season and tournament tiles each fall, and defeated 10 Top 25 opponents.

Rosen led Creighton to the BIG EAST regular-season and Tournament titles in 2025 and a return to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.

The 2008 South Carolina grad went 45-17 as head coach at Division II Nova Southeastern from 2019-21, though the 2020 season was cancelled due to COVID-19 without playing a match.

Biggest Competitors

Including league tournament action, Creighton is 93-5 against conference teams since the fall of 2021 began, losing once each to Xavier, St. John's and UConn and twice to Marquette.

Meanwhile, Marquette is 77-17, with 12 losses coming against the Bluejays compared to a 72-5 mark against everyone else. The other losses have been to St. John's (2), Xavier (1), Georgetown (1) and Villanova (1).

Creighton and Marquette ought to be quite familiar with each other by this point.

Sunday will mark the 18th meeting between the schools since February 4, 2021, and that doesn't include two other matches that were cancelled due to COVID protocols. Creighton has won 14 of those 17 recent contests.

Sunday will also be the 26th meeting since Oct. 17, 2017 between the BIG EAST behemoths. CU is 21-4 in the previous 25 encounters.

The Booth Tree

Both Brian Rosen and Tom Mendoza are disciples of the Kirsten Bernthal Booth coaching tree as both men are former Creighton assistant coaches.

Rosen served as a Bluejay assistant coach from 2022-24, a span that saw the Bluejays go 88-13. Creighton won the BIG EAST regular-season and Tournament titles, as well as made the NCAA Tournament, all three seasons.

Mendoza was an assistant at CU from 2010-15, during which time the Bluejays went 142-57 and made five NCAA Tournaments (2010, '12, '13, '14, '15). Creighton won the regular-season and conference tournament titles in 2012 in the Missouri Valley Conference and in 2014 and 2015 in the BIG EAST Conference.

Fittingly, Booth will broadcast Sunday's match-up alongside Jon Schriner.

Getting Better and Better

It's scary to see the numbers for Creighton's BIG EAST matches compared to its 12 non-conference matches. The Bluejay numbers are up across the board on the offensive end.

Creighton was last in the BIG EAST in hitting percentage (.162) entering league play, but currently leads the way in conference action (.301).

Seniors Near 100 Wins

Creighton's fourth-year seniors Sydney Breissinger, Jaya Johnson and Ava TeStrake are approaching 100 victories in a Bluejay uniform.

The trio is 96-21 since arriving in 2023 and four wins shy of becoming the eighth senior class to win 100 matches in a four-year span. Against BIG EAST foes, the trio are 28-0 in home matches and have dropped just four sets.

Home Sweet Home

Creighton is in its 14th season as a member of the BIG EAST since joining the league in the summer of 2013.

Since then, the Bluejays are 120-4 in home matches against BIG EAST teams (109-3 in the regular-season, 11-1 in the BIG EAST Tournament).

Since the start of the 2015 season, Creighton is 104-1 inside D.J. Sokol Arena against BIG EAST teams, which includes a 94-1 mark in league play and a 10-0 mark in the conference tournament. The only setback (on Feb. 6, 2021 vs. Marquette) was played as a non-conference match, only to be flipped to a league contest 19 days later. Creighton has won 55 straight matches against BIG EAST opposition at home.

Put another way, since enrolling at Creighton in the fall of 2023, fourth-year Bluejay seniors Sydney Breissinger, Jaya Johnson and Ava TeStrake are 28-0 in home matches against BIG EAST teams, and 84-4 in sets, dropping only the third set on Oct. 1, 2024 to Marquette, the second and third sets to Marquette on Nov. 1, 2025, and the second set to Villanova on Nov. 7, 2025.

BIG EAST'S Best

Since the reconfiguration of the BIG EAST in the summer of 2013, Creighton, Marquette and St. John's are the only teams to win any sort of BIG EAST volleyball title.

Creighton owns 12 regular-season titles (3 shared) in that time, while Marquette owns four regular-season (3 shared) crowns.

As it relates to BIG EAST Tournament titles, Creighton has won 11, Marquette one and St. John's one since 2013.

Against The BIG EAST

Since the BIG EAST was restructured in 2013, Creighton owns a winning percentage better than .800 against each of the other teams currently in the BIG EAST.

The Bluejays own 229 wins against BIG EAST competition (including BIG EAST Championship play) since 2013, 40 more wins than Marquette for most in the league.

CU still has not lost to three league foes (DePaul, Georgetown, Providence) since joining the BIG EAST, and Marquette (6), Villanova (3), Seton Hall (3) and St. John's (3) are the only BIG EAST programs to top the Bluejays multiple times since 2013.

12 Straight BIG EAST Regular-Season Titles

Creighton (2014-25) is the first team in BIG EAST volleyball history to win 12 straight regular-season titles. The previous record had been seven by Notre Dame from 1999-2005.

The Bluejay volleyball team is also the first Creighton program in any sport to win more than five straight league titles, more than doubling the previous high of five in a row by the men's soccer program (1992-96) in the MVC.

The only other volleyball team nationally with an active streak of more than six straight regular-season league titles is Kentucky, which won its ninth consecutive SEC crown last year.

Creighton's 12 straight regular-season titles rank third-longest in NCAA history, trailing only Florida's 18 straight SEC titles from 1991-2008 and Hawaii's 16 consecutive WAC crowns from 1996-2011.

Early Losses Have Rewards

Creighton is 7-7 on the young season, but past history has shown that's actually a great sign for future success.

Last year's team started 5-5, including a loss to No. 1 Nebraska in the 10th match, before closing out non-conference play with two home matches, including a nationally-ranked foe on Sunday (No. 17 Kansas). That team went from 5-5 to 28-6 thanks to a 23-match win streak that eventually saw CU return to the Elite Eight.

Before last fall, the last previous time that Creighton lost five or more non-conference matches was in 2016, when the Jays were 6-6 before winning 23 matches in a row en route to an Elite Eight trip. In 2015, Creighton started 5-7 in non-conference play before winning 22 of its next 23 matches. That season ended with CU's first trip to the Sweet 16.

Defense!

Creighton's defense continues to thrive, holding foes to .191 hitting this fall.

That includes holding Northern Iowa to its lowest hitting percentage (.000) since at least 2006, and No. 1 Nebraska to a season-low .202 after the Huskers entered the match hitting .330 for the year.

CU also held Louisville to .256 hitting, snapping the Cardinals six-match streak of .300 hitting or better.

A St. John's team that hadn't hit below .150 all year hit just .102 against Creighton on Sept. 26.

Creighton has held 110 straight opponents under the .300 mark.

Creighton has led the country in opponents hitting percentage in two of the previous five seasons, doing so in both 2021 (.124) and 2024 (.130).

Ames Aims Higher

Ayden Ames is having a breakthrough season offensively. After owning just two matches of 10 or more kills as a starter at Texas from 2024-25, Ames has turned it up a notch with Creighton.

Ames has delivered 10 or more kills in seven matches this season, including each of her past four. She's done that despite moving from middle blocker to outside hitter, a position the junior had not played since high school.

Unbeaten Runs

Last year was Creighton Volleyball's fourth team to go unbeaten in BIG EAST play.

The Jays lost just four sets all season in league play, and have dropped only seven sets in BIG EAST action in 38 matches (34 regular-season matches, 4 BIG EAST Tournament matches) versus league foes since the start of 2024.

Creighton was one of eight teams in the country that did not lose a regular-season conference match last fall. Of those teams, Creighton's four league sets lost trailed only Nebraska.

Brian Rosen was the only one of the eight head coaches who had an undefeated conference slate to not win Coach of the Year honors in his/her league, and Rosen was 3-2 against the other teams on this list.

The Streak

Creighton has won its last 49 BIG EAST regular-season matches to establish a program and league record.

It breaks the record for the longest streak in BIG EAST history, surpassing the 45 in a row done from Oct. 1, 1999 to Nov. 15, 2002 by Notre Dame.

The Streak (With League Tournament Play)

Add in conference tournament play and Creighton has won 55 straight matches against BIG EAST teams since October 7, 2023, dropping just nine sets to league opponents in that time.

The only team with a longer active win streak against league competition is Northern Iowa (60 heading into Thursday).

League Openers

Creighton is 25-8 all-time in conference openers, and 2-0 under Brian Rosen. That includes a 13-1 mark in BIG EAST lid-lifters, with 13 straight wins.

Each of the previous 13 times that Creighton won its league opener (2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025), the Bluejays went on to win the regular-season title, going a combined 211-13 (before 2026) in regular-season league action. Creighton also won 12 conference tournament titles during those years, going 24-1 at the league tournament in those seasons.

In the 23 previous seasons that Creighton has won its conference opener, it has never finished worse than .500 in league play and it owns a combined .798 (340-86) winning percentage in league matches entering 2026.

In the eight years in which Creighton lost its league opener, the Bluejays have had a losing record on five occasions and owns a combined .363 (53-93) winning percentage during league contests.

In conference home openers, Creighton is 27-5 overall with 15 straight wins.

In league road openers, Creighton is 24-9 overall with 13 straight wins.

The last team to win a BIG EAST regular-season or tournament title without winning its regular-season opener in conference play was Cincinnati in the fall of 2008, which will continue beyond 2025. If that holds true again, only Creighton, Butler, DePaul, Marquette, Xavier still have hope.

Trinity Shadd-Ceres owns 171 kills through her first 14 matches at Creighton, an average of 12.21 per contest.

If Shadd-Ceres matches her career-high with 29 kills on Friday, she'd tie Jaali Winters by reaching 200 kills with Creighton in just 15 matches.

Earlier this month Shadd-Ceres tied JoDe Cieloha's program-record mark by reaching 100 kills in just her eighth match.

It's Unanimous

Despite the graduation of All-Americans Ava Martin, Annalea Maeder and Kiara Reinhardt, Creighton was the unanimous pick to win the BIG EAST in a preseason poll of league coaches.

Abbey Hayes, Jaya Johnson and Ayden Ames were all named Preseason All-BIG EAST.

This is the sixth time since 2015 and third year in a row that the Jays have been voted a unanimous favorite to win the BIG EAST.

Creighton has previously been a unanimous favorite in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2024 and 2025 and gone a combined 85-3 in league action in those previous five seasons while sweeping the regular-season and conference titles on each occasion.

29 Kills For Shadd-Ceres

Trinity Shadd-Ceres became the sixth different player in Creighton Volleyball history with 29 or more kills in a match when she did it on Sept. 4 against Arizona. Of those women, Shadd-Ceres' .420 hitting percentage was the second-best mark. Her 29 kills tied a Bluejay Invitational single-match record and were one shy of the D.J. Sokol Arena record.

Dalton Goes 40/20 in Home Debut

Katie Dalton made an immediate impact in her first match as a Creighton Bluejay inside D.J. Sokol Arena, turning in 46 assists and a career-high 21 digs.

Dalton is just the ninth different Bluejay with at least 20 assists and 20 digs in the same match. It's happened 29 times overall among those women.

Top 25 Streak Ends

Creighton's school-record streak of 83 straight weeks as a Top 25 team was snapped when the Jays were listed 30th among those "also receiving votes" in the Sept. 28 poll. The drop came after CU had been 25th on Sept. 21st, then went 2-0 with road wins at Seton Hall and St. John's.

Creighton has been ranked 160 weeks in program history, all since 2012. Thirty-seven of those weeks the Jays have been in the Top 10.

Creighton's 83 weeks in a row being ranked began on Sept. 6, 2021 was a program record, breaking the previous-high of 64 from Oct. 31, 2016 to March 15, 2021.

Against Ranked Foes

After a total of three top-25 wins from 1994-2014, Creighton has earned at least one top-25 win each of the last 12 seasons (2015-26). Creighton is 35-99 all-time against ranked teams, and 5-10 under Brian Rosen. Creighton is also 13-46 all-time against Top 10 teams, including a 2-7 record under Rosen.

The highest-ranked team CU has defeated under Rosen was No. 8 Arizona State (W 3-1) on Dec. 11, 2025 in Lexington, Ky., in the Sweet 16. The highest ranked teams that Creighton has ever beaten at any site were No. 3 Washington (8/26/17 in Seattle) and No. 3 Kentucky (9/4/21 in Lexington). CU's highest-ranked opponent it has defeated at home was a 3-1 win over then-No. 9 Marquette on Nov. 22, 2019.

This year is the 10th season that CU owned multiple Top-25 victories, and last year was the fourth in a row with three Top 25 wins or more. The Jays beat three Top 25 teams in 2017, 2022, 2023 and 2025, and a record four in 2018, 2019 and 2024.

Ames Makes BIG EAST History in First Week

Ayden Ames was named BIG EAST Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week on Aug. 31 after helping the Bluejays to a pair of Top 25 wins to open the season. Ames is the first player in BIG EAST history, as well as Creighton Volleyball history, to be named both the Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week in the same week by the league office.

Ames hit .305 and averaged 1.92 kills, 1.17 blocks and 0.25 digs during her initial week as a Bluejay. The junior from Prosper, Texas, had seven kills and set a Creighton record for most blocks in a debut with seven stuffs in a 3-2 win vs. No. 9 Purdue.

Golden Girl

Creighton junior Ayden Ames spent the summer winning a second straight Pan American Cup Gold Medal with USA Volleyball's U21 team and starting three of the team's five matches, including the final. Ames had 18 kills in 35 swings and hit .400 in the four matches she appeared in.

Production Returns

Creighton returns 9-of-17 letterwinners to the court from last season, including three starters.

From last year's team, Ava Martin, Kiara Reinhardt, Annalea Maeder, Sky McCune, Alivia Hausmann, Sophia Wendlick, Destiny Ndam-Simpson and Emersen Strain are not back.

All told, of the seven categories listed below, Creighton returns 316.2 of a possible 700% back (45.2 percent), the third-smallest amount returning in the past 25 seasons behind only 2009 and 2025.

Advance In The Dance

Creighton is one of nine schools to appear in the Sweet 16 in each of the last three NCAA Tournaments (2023-25), joining Kentucky, Louisville, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Stanford, Texas and Wisconsin.

Creighton is one of six schools to be in the Elite Eight in both 2024 and 2025, a list that features Creighton, Kentucky, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, Stanford and Wisconsin.

Creighton has won a First Round match in the NCAA Tournament in each of the last three seasons (2023-25). Nationally, only 20 schools have done that: Arizona State, Baylor, Creighton, Florida, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Marquette, Miami (Fla.), Minnesota, Nebraska, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, SMU, Stanford, TCU, Texas, USC and Wisconsin.

How Sweet It Is

Creighton has made five Sweet 16s, all of which have come in the 11 seasons from 2015-25. Creighton is one of 46 schools to have made a Sweet 16 since 2015, but only 16 of those teams have been there five times or more in that span.

Replacing Three AVCA All-Americans

Creighton Volleyball had three seniors earn All-America honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association last season, as Ava Martin and Kiara Reinhardt picked up Second Team honors, and Annalea Maeder was a Third Team choice.

Creighton's three honorees were tied for fifth-most in the nation, trailing only the four women chosen from Kentucky, Nebraska, SMU and Texas A&M.

Last year marked the 14th straight season that Creighton has had at least one All-American, with multiple All-Americans in 10 of the previous 11 campaigns. The only schools with multiple All-Americans each of the past five years are now Creighton, Kentucky, Louisville, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, Stanford and Wisconsin.

Both Martin and Reinhardt were selected in the Major League Volleyball Draft on Nov. 24, 2025. Martin was the second overall section by the Atlanta Vibe, while Reinhardt was selected No. 8 overall in the first round by the Omaha Supernovas. The selections made Creighton the first school in league history to have two picks in the First Round of the same draft.

This is the second straight season the Jays have had to replace three or more All-Americans, as the 2025 Creighton squad that reached the Elite Eight had to replace Kendra Wait, Norah Sis, Maddy Bilinovic and Elise Goetzinger from its 2024 team that also made the Elite Eight.

How Elite Are We?

Creighton and UCLA are the nation's only schools to reach the Elite Eight in women's volleyball (2024 and 2025), women's basketball (2021), men's basketball (2022) and men's soccer (2022) since the start of the 2021-22 academic year. Creighton, UCLA and Kentucky are the nation's only schools to reach the Sweet 16 in those same sports since the start of the 2021-22 academic year.

Set 1 Result A Strong Indicator

Creighton has gone 192-8 in its last 200 matches at all sites when winning the first set, compared to a 21-32 record in that same span when dropping the opener.

Since Aug. 29, 2010, Creighton has gone 183-8 in its last 191 home matches when taking a 1-0 lead. The Jays have won their last 47 of their last 50 home matches following a first set victory.

Per RichKern.com, Division I teams that lost the first set won just 20.3 percent of their matches from 2014-23.

Champions Among Champions

Since the start of the 2012 season, Creighton, and Western Kentucky are the nation's only schools to have won 13 or more conference regular-season titles. All but three of Creighton's 12 crowns were outright titles, whereas WKU has shared six championships.

12 Straight BIG EAST Regular-Season Titles

Creighton (2014-25) is the first team in BIG EAST volleyball history to win 12 straight regular-season titles. The previous record had been seven by Notre Dame from 1999-2005. The Bluejay volleyball team is also the first Creighton program in any sport to win more than five straight league titles, more than doubling the previous high of five in a row by the men's soccer program (1992-96) in the MVC.

Preseason Ranking

Creighton was ranked 13th in the AVCA preseason poll on Aug. 10th. It's the 12th time in the past 14 years that the Jays have been ranked in the preseason, and fifth season in a row. The No. 13 slotting is tied for the fourth-best preseason mark in program history.

Creighton is one of 15 schools to be ranked in every preseason Top 25 poll since 2022. Of note, Creighton is the nation's only program that was nationally-ranked in the preseason polls in 2023, 2024 and 2025 and improved its position in the year-end poll. Nothing Mid-Major About It

There's nothing mid-major about the Creighton Volleyball program.

From 2012-25, Creighton ranked fourth nationally with 372 victories. The only teams with more wins in those 14 seasons were Western Kentucky (400), Nebraska (394) and Penn State (375). Just behind CU was Texas (370) and Stanford (368).

In that time, Creighton has made five Sweet 16's and three Elite Eights while leading the country with both 13 regular-season conference titles and 12 league tournament titles,

Creighton is the only Volleyball program in BIG EAST history to ever reach the Elite Eight, and has now done it three times (2016, 2024 and 2025).

14 Straight NCAA's

Creighton Volleyball has made the NCAA Tournament in each of the last 14 seasons. They are the first women's team in any sport at Creighton to make 14 straight NCAA Tournament appearances.

The only other sport in Creighton history to make even 10 straight NCAA Tournament appearances is the men's soccer program, which qualified in 17 straight seasons from 1992-2008.

Creighton is one of seven teams nationally to have appeared in each of the last 14 NCAA Tournaments (2012-25). That group features BYU, Creighton, Florida, Kentucky, Nebraska, Penn State and Texas.

Rosen Sets More History

Last year Brian Rosen was the first volleyball head coach to go unbeaten in BIG EAST play in their first season as head coach at a school since Pitt's Cindy Alvear went 7-0 in 1993.

Rosen was the first volleyball head coach to win a BIG EAST regular-season title in their first season as head coach at a school since Louisville's Anne Kordes in 2011.

Rosen was the first volleyball head coach to win 20+ matches in their first year as a head coach at a BIG EAST school since Ryan Theis won 24 matches at Marquette in 2014.

Rosen's 28 victories were the most ever by a head coach in his/her first season in the BIG EAST.

Rosen became the first volleyball head coach to win a BIG EAST Tournament title in their first season as head coach at a school since Georgetown's Li Liu in 1999.

Rosen became the first male head coach to win a BIG EAST Tournament title since Marquette's Bond Shymansky in 2013.

Rosen became the first volleyball head coach to win an NCAA Tournament match in their first year as a head coach at a BIG EAST school since Louisville's Anne Kordes in 2011, and the only rookie BIG EAST Volleyball coach to win multiple NCAA Tournament matches in the same season.

Against NCAA Tournament Qualifiers

This year's team has at least 15 matches against teams that made the 2025 NCAA Tournament with contests against Marquette (2x), Xavier (2x), Purdue, Minnesota, USC, Arizona, Tulsa, Northern Iowa, Louisville, Rice, Nebraska, Kansas State and Texas A&M.
