Armando Gandini continues his impact on the Creighton tennis staff as a graduate assistant after playing five seasons with the Bluejays from 2016-21. He totaled 109 combined wins as a player, which ranks ninth on Creighton's all-time charts. He also ranks eighth in CU history for doubles wins with 58. Gandini also served as team captain for three years and was voted the team's Most Inspirational Player each of his final three seasons.
A native of Santiago, Dominican Republic, Gandini is currently pursuing his master's in Business Intelligence and Analytics. He graduated magna cum laude from the Heider College of Business with a degree in Business Administration in May of 2020. Armando's brother, Alejandro, is a freshman on the Bluejays men's tennis team.
