OMAHA, Neb. ? Twin sisters Sarah and Leesa Cadwallader paired to win at No. 1 doubles, but it proved to be Creighton's only victory as the Southern Illinois women's tennis team defeated the Bluejays, 7-0, Saturday afternoon at the Koch Family Tennis Center.

SIU improved to 8-7 overall and 2-0 in the Missouri Valley Conference, while the Bluejay women fell to 5-7 and 0-3.

The Cadwallader twins took an 8-7 decision at No. 1 doubles, but SIU took victories at No. 2 and No. 3 to earn the doubles point.

The Salukis then swept singles play with six straight-set victories.

Creighton will return to action tomorrow morning, as the Bluejays will host Evansville at 10 a.m. at Koch Family Tennis Center. The match would be moved indoors to Hanscom Tennis Courts in the event of inclement weather.
