Creighton claimed victories at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to earn the first point of the overall dual. The Bluejays cruised to a 6-1 win at No. 1 singles before dropping a 6-4 decision at No. 2. Hylan Miller and Claire Embree paired up for a 7-6 win at No. 3 to clinch the doubles point.
In singles, Michaela Henne extended her winning streak to six matches with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 3 to secure the second point.

Embree earned her eighth singles victory of the season, 6-3, 6-2 at No. 6.
Miller ran into trouble in her opening set at No. 5, but prevailed 7-5, and finished off her opponent with a 6-1 win in the second frame.
Providence picked up a three-set win at No. 2 for its lone singles victory.
"We played very tight in doubles today and got away with it," head coach Tom Lilly said. "Our players settled down more in singles and played well.
"Providence has a good group of players, are well coached and fought hard. It's always nice to win a BIG EAST match."
Creighton has one final match in Orlando on Thursday morning. The Bluejays will play Marian University at the Lake Cane Tennis Center at 9:45 a.m. (CST).
