What's at Stake on Thursday
Thursday's match between the Friars and Bluejays can be thought of a play-in game to the BIG EAST Tournament. Entering Thursday's match the Friars are tied for fifth place with DePaul as the two squads each have 11 points. Creighton is just a shade behind with 10 points, but the Bluejays would lose a tiebreaker with DePaul. Also waiting in the wings is Villanova with nine points.

While most BIG EAST teams have settled on a primary netminder, with the notable exception of Butler, only Providence and Creighton
