For the second time in six seasons as a member of the BIG EAST conference, the Bluejays opened conference action with a victory as Creighton bested Xavier 1-0 on Sunday.
Coming off of one of its best performances of the season on Oct. 14th against No. 20 Oklahoma State, Bluejay head coach Ross Paule felt his team was not at its best against the Musketeers.
"We didn't play very well today, but we kept working and fighting. Often the ability to work through a match when you're not at your best can yield a result." noted Paule.
