OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton men's and women's cross country teams have been recognized with U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Team recognition.
The Bluejay men own a 3.73 cumulative GPA to rank seventh-best in the country, while Creighton's women have earned a collective 3.69 cumulative GPA to make the list. Creighton was one of eight schools in the country to have both genders owning a 3.69 GPA or better and one of 51 to have both its men's and women's cross country programs recognized. CU's combined GPA for both programs was the best in the BIG EAST and 11th-best in the nation.
