2019 (Senior):
Jakubowski was a unanimous selection to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team ... Starting all 18 matches, playing 1,575 minute earning All-BIG EAST First Team honors for the second straight year ... She notched three goals and two assist on the year, including a pair of goals in a 3-1 win over Oklahoma on Sept. 15 ... Taryn scored the Bluejays first goal of the season earning a penalty kick against Kansas State on Aug. 23.
2018 (Junior):
Taryn remained at the forefront for Creighton’s offense in 2018, leading the team with five goals for the second straight season ... She added two assists and earned All-BIG EAST First Team honors, starting each of the Bluejays’ 17 matches, logging 1,387 minutes and delivering a pair of game-winning goals ... Jakubowski notched goals in five different matches, sending in the winning goal in 1-0 victories over Xavier (Sept. 23) and Villanova (Oct. 14).
2017 (Sophomore):
Jakubowski led the team in scoring with five goals, playing and starting all 18 contests ... Taryn scored in back-to-back matches against UMKC (Sept. 8) and Kansas State (Sept. 10), then found the back of the net against Nebraska-Omaha (Sept. 16) ... Her final two tallies came in the Bluejays’ only multi-goal game, scoring twice against Providence in the last match of the season in a 2-1 win over Providence on Oct. 26.
2016 (Freshman):
Taryn started each of the Bluejays’ 17 matches as she earned a spot on the BIG EAST All-Freshman Team ... Jakubowski logged 1,508 minutes on the pitch, collecting the second most points (18) with four goals and six assists ... Taryn’s best match of the season came on Oct. 23, delivering two goals and an assist for a in the Bluejays’ 6-1 win over Xavier ... Her first goal as a Bluejay lifted Creighton to a 2-1 win over South Dakota State on Sept. 4 ... Just two weeks later she notched a goal and an assist in the Bluejays’ 4-2 win at Yale on Sept. 18 ... Those efforts earned Jakubowski the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week honor (Sept. 19).

Jakubowski graduated from Huntley High School, where she led the Red Raiders to a fourth place finish in Illinois 3A soccer in 2015 ... Taryn was named the Player of the Year by the Northwest Herald, Daily Herald and the Elgin Courier ... Jakubowski was among the top of her class, collecting the Huntley Scholar award (a minimum 3.7 GPA) ... Taryn played for Sockers FC Chicago from 2010-16 and played for the Chicago Magic from 2007-10.

The daughter of Andy and Michelle Jakubowski, Taryn was born in Rockford, Illinois ... She has three siblings; Taylor, Jake and T.J. ... Both of Taryn’s parents were also Division I athletes as Michelle played volleyball at New Orleans and Northeastern, while Andy played baseball at Northeastern ... Taryn is a psychology major.
