OMAHA, Neb. — In the midst of a three-match win streak, Creighton Women's Tennis will play host to Oral Roberts on Friday, Feb. 26 at 7:00 p.m., inside the Hanscom Tennis Center in Omaha.
As part of Creighton Tennis' "Free Pizza and Prizes Night", pizza will be delivered between 7:00-7:30 p.m., and will be free to those in attendance. A free raffle will also take place at Hanscom, with Creighton Tennis t-shirts being awarded to prize winners every 30 minutes.
GETTING UP TO SPEED
The Bluejays (3-3) have won three consecutive matches, earning victories over Wisconsin-Green Bay, Omaha, and Coe.
Creighton's most recent win came against Coe College on Saturday, Feb. 20, with the Bluejays controlling the entirety of the match en route to a 7-0 victory.
All six Bluejay players in action earned straight-set wins in singles play, while the doubles tandems of Rosette/Embree, Nelsen/Ishimura, and Naslund/Anderson found the win column in doubles competition.
Sam Anderson, Ashley Ishimura, and Darby Rosette have each recorded a team-best four singles wins. Meanwhile, Karlin Naslund has accrued a 3-1 record in singles competition.
With her 6-1, 6-0 win over Coe's Haley Resnick, Ishimura extended her team-best singles win streak to four matches.
