Scouting Creighton (4-7-0, 1-2-0 BIG EAST)
Each of the last two matches were difficult losses for the Bluejays as Creighton fell 2-1 to St. John's and 2-1 in overtime at DePaul. In each match the Bluejays defense was responsible for one of their opponents' goals as the Bluejays headed in an own goal in each contest.
Building on the tactic Creighton used last with great success against the Hoyas last season, Thursday is likely to see the Bluejays drop an extra defender in the box and create offense via the counter attack.
The Bluejays are 4-1-0 when scoring first, the lone loss coming against DePaul in Creighton's last contest.
Scouting #5 Georgetown (10-0-2, 3-0-0 BIG EAST)
The Hoyas will enter Morrison Stadium riding a nine-match winning streak, dating back to Aug. 26. During the last nine matches the Hoyas have outscored their opponents 25-3. In three BIG EAST matches the Hoyas have delivered three consecutive 3-0 victories, taking down St. John's, DePaul and Seton Hall.

Defensively the Hoyas are even better as goalkeeper Arielle Schectman has eight shutouts in 12 matches. The last goal allowed by the Hoyas came on Sept. 13 to #25 Princeton, a span of 385:14.
Scouting Seton Hall (2-6-4, 0-3-0 BIG EAST)
After finishing the 2017 season 0-12-5, the Pirates have shown great improvement with two victories in their first five matches in 2018. Coming into BIG EAST play Seton Hall had three consecutive draws against UMass-Lowell, Central Connecticut State and LIU Brooklyn. Unfortunatley the 2-2 draw with LIU Brooklyn on Sept. 19 was the last time the Pirates punched in a goal (278:10). Before coming to Morrison on Sunday, the Pirates face Villanova in Pennsylvania.
Seton Hall has scored five matches this season, with two coming from both Cassy Harrigan and
Siobhan McGovern.
