The Mavericks opened the season with a 4-0 loss at Memphis and face Arkansas on Friday, Aug. 24 prior to the battle with the Bluejays. Nebraska-Omaha also dropped a 1-0 decision at Northern Iowa on Monday, Aug. 6.
The first goal of the year for the Mavericks came from Brylie Meyer as she redirected a pass from Sophia Roux.
